Engineering Department Hours of Operation:
Maintenance Engineers are on site Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. They are on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
Response Time:
All Engineering requests are given a priority code and responded to within that time period. All maintenance requests are dispatched according to priority. This can range from an immediate response for flooding, safety issues or power outages to a 24 hour response for less urgent matters, such as getting quotes from subcontractors.
Above Standard After-Hours Lighting & Air Conditioning:
Although building standard operating hours vary per tenant lease agreement, most standard operating hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Any requests for lighting and/or air conditioning outside of these hours will be charged to your company and/or cost center. Please note, lighting at any time is free of charge, and requests for air outside of standard building operating hours will be billed to your company at a rate in accordance with the lease agreements.
Bank associates may have any of these services pre-programmed by calling the Corporate Workplace Helpline (1-800-698-4400) in advance. Non-bank associates may also have this pre-programmed by calling the Lincoln Harris Management Office at (704) 333-7755.
How to Request After Hours Heating and Air Conditioning:
Requests being made after hours should be made directly to the Security Console at 101 Independence Center by calling (704)-333-7755. The Officer will contact the Engineer on duty, who will then activate the HVAC system via computer. This process may take up to 15 minutes.
Contractor and Vendor Identification:
All contractors and vendors in the building are required to register with Security during normal business hours or with the Security Console after hours and are assigned an ID badge which is to be worn at all times. If a contractor or vendor is not wearing this badge, please contact the Security Console at (704) 333-7755.
